- Jutin Booz is an American artist, designer, and researcher who investigates how computers, algorithms, and machines are reshaping our ways of understanding the world. He focuses on the massive technological networks surrounding Earth and the messy mix of living tissue, code, circuits, and waste they produce. By revealing moments when these systems become tangible, he creates objects, assemblages, and digital artifacts that interrogate our strange present and develops tools to encourage public engagement.
Trained in Landscape Architecture and Computational Design, Booz has lived, worked, and exhibited internationally. As a researcher, he has built sensor networks and geospatial machine learning processes, which inform his teaching and empower others to navigate our rapidly evolving planetary conditions.
